Fuji Instax + Instagram = Instaxagram

What started as a spur of the moment idea soon turned into an entire series. The blend of film and digital photography combine to form a unique look at the subject behind the lens.

One of the best parts about taking portraits in this manner is the time I get to spend with people. Most of the portraits are of some of my best friends in the whole world. And those are the ones I feel the easiest to capture. But the challenge of shooting someone I don't know as well forces me to get to know them better. And I love that connection.

For me, being able to travel the world is a dream. And while I haven't made it all the way around quite yet, I have been fortunate enough to visit a lot of beautiful places. Those experiences captured on film is like no other. It makes the memory last just that much longer.
